These resumes have been compiled for the benefit of your organization. They represent the students in the Food Industry Management Certificate Program at Portland State University who are attending the 2008 FMI Show. Many will graduate in the near future and will be candidates for management training positions in your company. Some of our students will also be in search of internship opportunities which may exist in your company as well. Undergraduate business students at PSU focus their business degree with what we call an option area or minor, these include: Accounting, Finance, Management, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Supply and Logistics Management, Advertising, and Information Systems. An International Business Certificate is also available. In addition, the Food Industry Leadership Center offers the Food Industry Management Certificate, wherein students will learn the key competitive issues facing firms involved in the manufacture, distribution, and retail of food and related consumer products. Combined with their study in a functional area of business, students who earn the Food Industry Management Certificate will be prepared for management positions in the dynamic food industry.
